The Ford Bonus Built or better known as the F-Series Pick-up, was sold from 1948 through 1952. It was Fords first attempt at a Post WWII built truck and to be quite honest pretty early on in the consumer truck ring as a whole. Up until this time, most truck sales were for commercial businesses and not the average consumer. But now as roads get better and people start moving to the county they rely on themselves to get things done. The F-series was built at more than sixteen different Ford plants. This tremendous driver quality truck we are happy to present comes with a 289 Cubic inch V8. Originally the engine would have been a 215 inline 6-cylinder with a 3-speed manual on the column. This now V8 is mated to a automatic transmission that shifts perfectly. This truck starts with the snap of the key and goes down the road better than new. Seatbelts and turn signals have been added for safety. This F1 is on consignment and the owner has done radiator, new distributor, fuel pump, air shocks, master cylinder, brakes, lines and tires recently. The fluids are fresh the truck is ready to cruise. The paint and body appear to have been completed some time ago, however still show very well for a driver. This truck can seriously cruise anywhere you want it to go. The interior is comfy and everything operates as it should.
