McLaren 720s

McLaren is my personal favorite brand, and when I took a trip to LA, I went to one of the best dealerships down there. This post is about the McLaren 720s.

This car is very interesting in my opinion; when it first was released people didn't really know how they felt about it. People continued to compare it to the McLaren 675LT which was not the car it replaced. The car it replaced was this, the McLaren 650s.

McLaren continued to press that it was exactly that, a new base for them to improve upon in the near future. Thankfully now that people have really gotten their hands on it, it is now regarded as the new benchmark for what a supercar should be. The new 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 produced 720hp, all up from the 650s which had a 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 producing 650hp. The 720s will go from 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and run the quarter mile in a hair under 10 seconds.

Personally, I think the car looks incredible and has a presence that looks so aggressive and so elegant all at the same time. From what I have read and watched, it drives exactly like that, clam, smooth, and soft while going slow, and brutally fast and a monster on track, all in one neat package.
