Captain Marvel movie 2019 release date, powers, costume, comic, and everything else you need to know
Captain Marvel is a little under a year away and, yet, we’ve seen precious little of what’s to come for Carol Danvers and her MCU debut. What with the Avengers: Infinity War post-credits scene setting Brie Larson’s role up as one of huge importance heading into Avengers 4, it’s going to be crucial that this movie fills in all the gaps in a fun and interesting way before we get to that whole Thanos thing.

There has actually been – fittingly when taking into account Captain Marvel’s day job as an air force pilot – plenty of under-the-radar scoops about who’s in the movie, and what might be going down. We know it’s set in the 1990s, acting as a prequel of sorts featuring an eyepatch-less Nick Fury, and features a return for a few Guardians of the Galaxy villains. The rest (for now) is pure speculation – which is the best kind of speculation.
