I think China has play out pretty well and as for the forks i was only ever concerned with were Bitcoin Cash and Segwit2x. Every other fork planned from here on out (gold, diamond, red, blue lalala) is just an airdrop on BTC holders; essentially IMO they are just altcoins with a shared history. but i can see where your coming from :) interesting times for sure!
I would recommend caution when attempting to claim these forks; i am worried that people will use un audited wallets and expose the private keys to their bitcoin.
Yeah I think we can see the FUD from chinas ICO concerns has mostly washed away. I feel it held back ETH's price explosion till now but it seems to me people must be over that fear or they wouldnt invest so much in ETH recently since ETH is the home of those ICOs, at least most of them.
