WEEDELIGHT | STRAWBERRY KUSH COOKIES
In the previous posts we talked a little bit about what concerns the legalization of cannabis in the country where I'm living in [ WEEDELIGHT PREVIEW | GET READY! ] and we tasted together a wonderful, soft Blueberry Haze Muffin [ WEEDELIGHT | BLUEBERRY HAZE CANNA CAKE ].
STRAWBERRY KUSH COOKIES
Let's take a look to the package: this beautiful nine cookies are placed in a big hermetic plastic jar, which is perfect for their preservation and to mantain them whole.
You can see a beautiful graphic in the front side of the package that tells that the cookies come from Amsterdam, so this must be an original Dutch recipe, as it was for the weedelicious Blueberry Haze Canna Cake.
Wow, the color is a very bright pink, with some flour nuances. You can't immediately smell the weed flavour, it's more like the typical food preservatives fragrance. After a while, you can smell the classic cookie dough scent.
I'm a little bit disappointed because I'm missing the weed and the strawberry, but maybe the tasting will meet my expectations, let's see.
The consistency is a little bit moist and very compact, but also very friable.
After the first bite I sadly announce to you that you will search invain for that scent, but you won't find it. Let's take another bite for a better tasting....oh stop, wait a sec ...no.
Maybe a bit of aftertaste, but personally, I can't feel any weed or strawberry.
Being born in the 90's also means that when you see a pink like this, you expect to feel a kind of bigbubblish taste. In this case you end up being disappointed by a sweet and delicious taste, a good classic cookie to soak in a good warm drink. These cookies are good, they just don't smell or taste like weed (or strawberry, or strawberry kush), that's my personal opinion.
Maybe this was not the cannabis food product that I loved the most, but next time there will be more and weeder stuff to taste! Stay tuned for the next WEEDelight, 'cause that's how we like it!

I live in a country where legalization of cannabis is a controversial argument: the stores can sell collectible ''light cannabis'' that you can legally buy, but you can't smoke it 'cause is collectible . So in this legislative vacuum, stores are selling weed that you can't smoke and I start to see a lot of new products you can buy but you can't use it (it seems a joke but it's the sad truth. lol), some of them are edible and it's a pleasure to taste them with you on steemit!!
I'm sure you'll love Disjointed , this is the opening of the II season. I love it, it is a brilliant tv show! Brilliant and funny on a controverse topic, like I haven't seen since a while.

How interesting. I suppose there's some sense in safeguarding the herb, with its various potencies and all, compared to an edible which could be created by specific potency standards. Here in the U.S., we have major shifts happening in some states, while other states are holding tight to their old-fashioned laws. Generally, I believe we're shifting toward an overall embrace of the herb and all its derivatives. High-five! 👋

During this weekend I watched a beautiful documentary about what is happening in the United States, especially in Colorado: they have documented the great changes that have just happened, with a nice contrast between the seriousness of some topics and the intervention of some comedians which, in a fun way, dispel the paradoxes and taboos related to the cannabis world.
