So, you’ve heard about the medicinal benefits of CBD and now you want to try it yourself. With the plethora of CBD companies popping up, it can be hard to determine which one is right for you. Your primary question shouldn’t necessarily be “what company should I buy from?”, rather you should ask yourself “what product is best for me?”. Without getting too deep into the science and biochemistry, here is an easy guide on what to look for when buying CBD.

What form do you want?

Vape

  • Good for systemic internal ailments.
  • Safe for the lungs and easy to use.
  • Quickest reaction.
  • Highest CBD absorption method.
  • Reusable Battery.

Topical

  • Good for localized pain in muscles/joints.
  • Reduce inflammation of arthritis.
  • Ease Stiffness.
  • Promotes healthy skin.

Edibles

  • Good for systemic internal ailments.
  • Bioavailability between 4% – 12%, takes longer to work, lasts the longest.
  • Difficult to dose.

Tinctures

  • Good for those who can’t vape, but still want a fairly quick result.
  • Lasts longer, most don’t taste very good.

What ingredients and processing should you look for?

  • %100 Organic & Pesticide Free
  • Vape: Winterized (optional)
  • Vape: Distillate or Full Spectrum Oil
  • Vape & Sublingual: Cutting agent MCT (medium chain triglycerides)
  • Natural terpenes (flavoring)
  • Ingredient percentages
  • C02 extraction method
  • Third party lab test results

Things to avoid:

  • Harmful cutting agents such as PG, PEG
  • Plastic cartridges full of BPA
  • Pyramid scheme companies
  • Hidden subscriptions (make sure you read the fine print!)
  • Claims of curing ailments without evidence

What about using THC with CBD?

The more THC added to your CBD, the more immediate pain relief, but also more psychoactive effects. Typically, higher THC can bring a host of side effects such as paranoia, anxiety, sleepiness and stupidity. However, thanks to a polarization technology, those side effects are no longer an issue. Contrary to popular belief in the Enterouge Effect, THC is not needed to activate CBD, but to compliment it.

Everyone’s results are different so make sure you use the same dosage for several days before making a decision as to whether it works or not.
