Cannabis Semen: A Legal, Scientifically Proven, Profitable, and Largely Overlooked Form of Medical Marijuana
Cannabis Semen is one of the oldest healing substances known to humankind. Dr. Joseph Brand and Dr. Zhongzhen Zhao, who are real people and who teach at, of all places, a Baptist university in Hong Kong, have 1700-year-old documents that show that Chinese emperors ordered Cannabis Semen to treat that one disability in old age that drives people to distraction. That takes over their lives. That becomes all they talk about.
Constipation.
Cannabis is marijuana. And in botany, "semen" is a seed. Cannabis Semen is marijuana seed. It's legal, even in the USA. It's an official medication in China and many other countries. It really works for what healers have been prescribing it for centuries, blocked up bowels.
So why would any marijuana user or marijuana grower care? Americans spend--no shit--about $1.3 billion a year on laxatives. And before you click away, marijuana growers, here's a little story from my life experience. (I'm a scientifically oriented herb expert, with publications and media appearances and industry experience yadda yadda.)
I once worked for a man, now retired even though he's about 50, who amassed a fortune of, I'd guess, a couple hundred million dollars. He got started by selling colonics to the stars in Hollywood. I am happy to report I had nothing to do with administering colonics. But after he became a major player in the natural products I had a tiny role in tweaking (that's tweaking, not tweeking) the formula. He sold a month's supply to in Beverly Hills for Goddess knows how much. I think he charged $500 and sometimes got $5000 tips. But the version he sold commercially runs $17.99 to $27.99 in places like Costco. Cost of herbs, and I would know, because I signed off for orders for them in kazillion pound batches, is about $0.40. But people are very sure they are getting a great deal because it works. And if you were to reformulate something like this with "Cannabis Semen," I might charge more.
There's huge money in unblocking bowels. Maybe 20 bucks isn't much for a month's supply of a pot-related product, but $20 times 50,000,000 old people like the guy writing this article and you're on to something. That $1 billion market I was talking about. And there's more!
This application of marijuana is legal. So when you sell Cannabis Semen, you can write off expenses. So you can put your money in the bank. Maybe you have to keep cannabis sales in cash. You don't have to keep what's basically a hemp sale in cash. That could be very, very useful. I'm not a lawyer, so this isn't legal advice, and I'm not a CPA, so don't go to the IRS with "Hey, I saw this on Steem." But I can tell you I've been involved with companies who sold Cannabis Semen, buying raw product in 10,000-kilo quantity, with no legal problems. I can't guarantee you won't get a hassle but if you do, you were going to get hassled anyway. So what else do you need to know?
Oh, yeah. How does it work?
OK. Here's how it works. If you go down to your Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and you're given a concoction, OK, a decoction, they'd call it, for constipation, it probably contains huomaren, or 火麻仁. The seed, unlike the bud, doesn't contain THC or CBD or THCV or pinenes or myrcenes or linalool or any of the other chemicals you hear about. It contains fiber, and some chemicals that change the way your gut reacts to salt. The effect is kind of like pouring salt on a slug, only pouring salt on a slug kills the slug and this helps your intestines. Your intestines ooze out just enough water to make you regular again.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this process is called "sweet." And it may change your customer's mood so they are a lot more interested in some of your other products. I'm pretty sure you can think of ways to sell "Cannabis Semen." Just make sure it's either soaked and drunk as a warm tea, or ground up like flax seed. It has to be one or the other actually work. And the whole point of medical marijuana is that it actually works.
I'll be glad to answer any questions I can. Maybe together we can create just a little more revenue for growers and dispensaries and a whole lot more good moods for a whole lot of customers.
Let's say I live in the midwest, where could I possibly look to get this stuff?
East Earth Trade Winds, 144 Hartnell Ave, Redding, CA 96002, (530) 223-4849 should be able to give you current information. It's been a while since I spoke with the owner, Michel (pronounced Michael, he's a guy), but he is extremely helpful.
I totally thought you had a typo and was laughing. But smart!
