People are being denied entry at US boarders and are being put on a no-fly list because of their cannabis affiliations.

None of our team crosses that border nowadays. Sad, but we are trapped within Canada because we use a certain plant! Not that Canada isn't awesome, but we hate feeling trapped.

Couldn't post due to the update. But this is hilarious. We didn't get up to NS this year. So we missed out on a couple weeks of truly wonderful satirical cartoons.
I thought this was only an issue if you willingly admit to working in the cannabis industry. I feel if that's the case one could describe their job in a way that is neither self-incriminating nor just telling a lie at the border.

It took me reading your post to understand the cartoon, but once I did it clicked. The cartoon is funny. The real life situation probably isn't for a lot of people.
I didn't realize that they would do an electronics search when crossing the boarder. That's strange.
That is some crazy shit! I'm curious if there's a protocol in place that addresses this issue specifically or if it's a case by case deal where they have to take the totality of circumstances at hand for each person to make a decision? Obviously someone suspected of trafficking would be restricted in some sort of way but just being affiliated with the plant seems unjust.
