RE: Building My New Grow Room! Stage One.
Thanks so much @speckofdust! I've been studying and researching for a few months...but nothing beats the learning that comes when you actually try to put theory to the test.
Here's the leaf from one of the plants:
I would say (as a novice) that it is a hybrid and I suspect a cross between a ruderalis and a sativia.
The original plants were grown outside last year and they grew to be over 6 ft tall. When vaped, it produced euphoria, and pain-relief, but left the head clear and wasn't hugely sedating.
What do you think?
of course, seems a ruderalis-sativa hybrid, the ruderalis part makes that the flowering starts automaticaly, not by the light-dark period, so the plants will start to flowering when they just reach 3 or 4 weeks, it seems that will be fast but the plants won't be very big. for me is a good option for indoor, but the efect it isn't very strong because the ruderalis are not psycoactive.
OK, well maybe I am wrong on my guess and it's an Indica Sativa hybrid...does have psychoactivity to it. I'd guess about 14% THC if I had to compare it to other strains that I know clock in right around that level.
When i said that ruderalis are not psychoactive is because that genetic needs to be mixed with sativa or indica, pure ruderalis are not psychoactive but when is mixed with indica or sativa, the result strain is phychoactive. ruderalis comes from siberian and in these place the summer is very short, for that reason the plant needs to grow and bloom fast, "autoflowering" strains are a mix of sativa or indica with ruderalis, theese plants have the carachteristic to start the flowering period without reduction of hours of light.
Thank you for this detailed information @speckofdust!
I'll give it a go and see what I get these plants to produce.
Good luck @rebeccaryan, i hope you harvest good buds :)
Thank you. I plan to post about my trials and tribulations as I go...
I know there will be a few and I'm not going to get bent out of shape about it.
I'm just going to do my best to learn and the beauty of Steemit is that I know there is a lot of expertise among our group. I really appreciate your expertise @speckofdust! Thanks again for taking a few minutes to discuss this with me.
thank you for share your experiencies with this magical and beauty plant :)
