I feel like instagram is rigged
I don't know what is up with instagram. I've noticed weird patterns where for every 10 followers I gain, I'll lose 9. My number of followers has always stayed very closely tied to my number of posts. I even noticed a fall off in followers after deleting a bunch of posts once. I've been on Instagram a lot loner than I have been on steemit and I haven't gotten anywhere near as many followers, and instagram has many more users.
I look forward to steemit integrating stronger UI interface for their platform, and a mobile app. I feel that will greatly increase the value of the platform and attract a lot more people to come and participate. I hope the focus from the steemit team is on user experience. The blockchain has proven to be good, and it functions great. We need a better user interface and user experience for more widescale adoption. Most of the people I think who have adopted this are a little computer savvy.
Just my thoughts for tonight, hope everyones doing well in this rough little dip we've seen. I'll talk more about that tomorrow
Huh never thought of that before but now I’m thinking real hard about that. I know one thing the people who are popular on ig tend to ingore other users, and not follow back. And also they will give you a follow but soon stop following once you follow them. Instagram definitely has slot more assholes and dumbasses lol
Yes, it is quite annoying. Steemit is a much better community. There is incentives to be nice and kind here, so people are nice and kind. It is so amazingly mind blowing, I can't figure out why the rest of society can't figure this shit out...
It’s a perfect example of how greed is good. But same principle could be applied in society cause being nice also gets you things that money can’t buy.

I haven't deleted it because I still like to use it to promote steemit occasionally

I've been losing followers on instagram lately myself I went from over 17,000 to 16,800 followers in the last month or two. It was way better before facebook bought it out and they changed the algorithms... I have been posting less frequently though, which I'm sure is a factor, as well.
