While not even Altria or Cronos ultimately know where the partnership is headed, the deal is a big step in a more profitable direction, and points to Altria’s incredible confidence in a particular company within an industry that has many participants.

Interesting article about the investment by Altria into Cronos. I'm glad to see that it's final and official. I think Altria adds a lot of stability to a company in a young unstable industry. Also, now that Altria has four of the board members aboard, they can get to working on bigger deals that Cronos wouldn't even be dreaming of without them. I think in the next three to six months we'll start seeing new deals for Cronos.....
