MediKatie Fresh out of Jail
I'm fresh out of Vancouver jail tonight, and I really need a dab. They tried to take all my shit, even my piercings, but they only got my nose stud so I put in this badass hoop, haha. Thanks everybody for your support! I have to appear in Surrey Court at 10AM Wednesday, March 7th. I'm deciding what shirt to wear :| :) :D I'm gona go get rested and dabbed up and back in action :) <3

Had a good sleep. I still have a headache and vision problems this morning, but hopefully I'll see my doctor today.
The Cool Thing about this is when you tell everyone here on STEEMIT what is happening in your LIFE you actually get some Crypto for it. Be Well and be STRONG...........

When MediKatie got home one of the first things she wanted to know was "did you upload to Steemit about it?" and I told her it made $2, and she said "well then a day and night in jail was worth it!" : P

I uploaded the exact same video and text to FB and also to YT, at the same time. By far, Steemit had the warmest response and the most useful suggestions, even though we've been on FB and YT for many years! There's something special in the Steemit waters. : )
I shared it to Ganjagirls and the big steem discord room. So word got out quick.
But this is activism in the purest form. To go to jail and get court date for being a human? Well I warned you both about being famous. Have even more people gonna hear from you about this event.
But at minimum! This was unlawfully arrest and kidnapping.
And of a tiny young woman!
They started this war on patients.
Sounds like the Green Union war for patients rights is heating up.

Yeah, we've been doing this a while, have seen some interesting things. (Got lots of interesting footage, too!) This isn't the first crime they've pulled on us and it won't be the last. We'll continue peaceful public breaking of unjust cannabis laws : )

Damn, the weekend would suck, I don't think I could do the whole weekend the way they were neglecting my medical needs, but I almost had to stay another night but in a Surrey jail. I was nice to the Duty Council and Judge, but I couldn't resist saying to the Judge "always have" in repsonse to him telling me to keep the peace as a condition of release. He paused but kind of smirked and kept talking.
Well you are an activist and yeah this isn't good. Someone will be in trouble.

I'm so glad she is out of jail! Unfortunately she has to face charges on Wednesday in court.... so please send positive thoughts.

Thanks you for the warm support. Yes I did get out asap. If it had been a weekday aparently I might have gotten out the same night, but since I was booked just after court ended on Saturday I spent the night, but luckily I did not get transfered to Surrey for another night. The Duty Council was very helpful and the Judge was kind.
