It once was not only legal, the law required the growing of it.
Every farmer should grow hemp, and countries need to stop importing cotton, and cutting down trees. Weed grows like weed, and trees don't. You can make paper, textile and even bio fuel with that stuff.

I still don't get why it became illegal 60 or 70 years ago.
Anyone has any idea?
