The government says legal cannabis has to be irradiated, like produce, to destroy bacteria. But we're not eating it raw! The bacteria on cannabis is a danger to nobody. The radiation burns off the trichome heads, which as you know, contain the terpenes and the cannabinoids. The radiation also stops the curing process because it kills the bacteria, leaving the buds smelling like straw, burning black, and harsh on the throat.
They are turning legal cannabis into poison, like they did with tobacco and cigarettes.
Damn i was totally thinking vacation, lol. My bad. But man this whole irradiation thing is so bizarre to me. Is there any talks of stopping this, or is irradiation there to stay?
Most people up here, like yourself, really don't know much about the issue. And since few people know about it, there's nothing being done about it. They say it's to stop bacteria, like on apples, but we don't eat cannabis raw, so bacteria isn't a legitimate issue. Radiation should not be done, as it adds cost, and reduces quality, for no benefit.
