What a world. I once believed that states had rights that trumped federal government rights. It made sense when I thought checks and balances and the Constitution were something substantial. However, I eventually realized that only individuals can have rights. If the State claims rights the individuals do not possess, it blows apart even the counterfeit lessons from civics class.
