I've got no idea about the origin of this list, but I thought it would be a nice segway into a dive into this topic.

I have never smoked tobacco, but when i roll i joint it is a habit to mix it with tobacco. It is a habit from the times,where weed was expensive and hard to get. I tried to mix herbs in my weed. Try mixing dry mint, it has a pleasant after taste and is an aphrodisiac :).
