I'm really glad today because this post is made to promote a project which I'm committed with. For the record, I'm not a great English writer at all I'm still learning, but I hope to do my best. If u found any mistake, please let me know in your comments.

A long time ago, when I was the worst blogger ever, but at least I was doing my best, I talked here in Steemit about many of my thoughts and ideologies. But as everything I posted those days, it was just an idea of what I really can do.

One of those important topics that I deal with as an activist is the legalization of marijuana. I'm really into that idea and as I live in Venezuela (Where is completely Illegal, like having a future at all...) I needed a way to promote my proposals about it.

The answer came to me during the dawn of the year, and this project has been growing since then. This post is made to introduce you to that concept, and to announce that I will stand for this and other ideas here in Steemit.

I introduce you to Educannabis Ve and my upcoming post about the need for legalizing cannabis once for all.

How were we born?

The idea about Educannabis, as everything I stand for as an activist, was born from my deep research and analysis. But the origin of it as a real project was after a comment I made in a Facebook post.

What I said was that as a member of one of the strongest parties in Venezuela, and because our ideology is progressivist (liberals/kinda like the US Democratic party/like the Canadian Liberal party) we are very open about legalizing marijuana and I stand for it.

Many people liked what I said, but especially one guy called: Gustavo Escalona, was very interested about it. Then He introduced himself at the DM and asked for more information about what I do as an activist.

In that chat, the actual concept of Educannabis was created. This project started at that moment.

After making a few deals we decided to create a Facebook page that helped us to promote the project.

The idea was to let people know the truth about marijuana using the most serious, trustful articles on the web about cannabis, not only about the good stuff but also the issues of using weed.

What are we?

We are both: an independent activism organization and educational social media page. We decided to start on Facebook, but hopefully, we will be in every relevant social media, and probably we also will have our website.

Also, we wanted to put "Ve" in our title and logo because we live in Venezuela. It is our priority to make changes here, but our thoughts are global, and hopefully, we will be advancing to that level pretty soon.

For us, cannabis should be legal in every single country in the world. We are very into libertarian thoughts. For us, the drug war is a complete fail and a historical mistake, but cannabis is our priority for many reasons.

Those reasons lead us to a method. We want people to know what does marijuana really is, that is the reason for our name, and that is part of our philosophy.

What do we stand for?

Education

The name of Educannabis is not casual. For us, the real needing in drug control is having a good, frontal and honest education. We firmly believe that people are not into cannabis legalization because they don't know what it actually is.

We based our method in that order of ideas. That means that our real mission is to teach people about the Cannabis using. We will promote marijuana legalization by using truth and science.

We also believe that the money that criminals in drug traffic are getting from marijuana selling can become in taxes to invest in education.

Freedom

Certainly talking about legalizing is equal to talk about freedom. But we go beyond. For us being free is doing whatever you want bout not going against anybody else freedom.

We want to build citizens that can take control of their lives with responsibility. Enjoying marijuana should be a right, but it also should be a commitment to rationality while using it.

The consequence of prohibition is that criminals are using the marijuana market to get money, and doing actual dangerous and harming crimes.

The drug traffic world is getting stronger every single day by getting the money that can become in taxes to invest in security.

Health

Cannabis has been used as a medicine for a long time, and many countries all over the world had already made weed legal for medical use.

We step forward and purpouse medical marijuana with low taxes and recreational marijuana with high taxes.

If we use recreational marijuana taxes to build strong campaigns to teach people how to deal with cannabis and other drugs instead of criminalizing whoever uses them then we will create real safety and health.

Using the money that people responsibly use buying marijuana to invest in health programs, medical research (including about the plant itself) and prevention info is, for us, a really smart thing to do.

Our next steps

We will be posting and sharing trustful information and global news about cannabis. Social media will be our principal tool, but we want to make activism on the streets, and we're working on it.

Estoy muy contento hoy porque este post está hecho para promover un proyecto con el que estoy comprometido. Para que conste, no soy un gran escritor inglés, aún estoy aprendiendo, pero espero hacer lo mejor. Si has encontrado algún error, por favor házmelo saber en los comentarios.

Hace mucho tiempo, cuando era el peor bloguero de todos los tiempos, pero al menos lo estaba haciendo lo mejor posible, hablé aquí en Steemit sobre muchos de mis pensamientos e ideologías. Pero como todo lo que publiqué esos días, fue solo una idea de lo que realmente puedo hacer.

Uno de esos temas importantes sobre los que trato como activista es la legalización de la marihuana. Estoy comprometido con esa idea y, como vivo en Venezuela (donde es completamente ilegal, como tener un futuro...), necesitaba una forma de promover mis propósitos al respecto.

La respuesta me llegó durante el inicio del año, y el proyecto ha ido creciendo desde entonces. Este post está hecho para presentarles ese concepto y para anunciar que apoyaré esta y otras ideas aquí en Steemit.

Les presento a Educannabis VE y mis próximos mensajes sobre la necesidad de legalizar el cannabis de una vez por todas.

¿Cómo nacimos?

La idea sobre Educannabis, como todo lo que defiendo como activista, nació de mi profunda investigación y análisis. Pero el origen como un proyecto real fue después de un comentario que hice en una publicación de Facebook.

Lo que dije fue que, como miembro de uno de los partidos más fuertes de Venezuela, y porque nuestra ideología es progresista (como el partido Demócrata de los Estados Unidos / como el Partido Liberal Canadiense), somos muy abiertos a la legalización de la marihuana y yo lucho por eso.

A muchas personas les gustó lo que dije, pero especialmente un chico llamado: Gustavo Escalona, estaba muy interesado. Más tarde, se presentó en el DM y pidió más información sobre lo que hago como activista.

En esa charla, se creó el concepto actual de Educannabis. Este proyecto comenzó en ese momento.

Después de hacer algunas ofertas, decidimos crear una página de Facebook que nos ayudara a promover el proyecto.

La idea era que la gente supiera la verdad sobre la marihuana usando los artículos más serios y confiables de Internet sobre el cannabis, no solo sobre las cosas buenas, sino también sobre los problemas del uso de la hierba.

¿Qué somos?

Somos ambos: una organización de activismo independiente y una página educativa de redes sociales. Decidimos comenzar en Facebook, pero esperamos que estemos en todas las redes sociales relevantes, y probablemente también tengamos nuestro sitio web.

Además, queríamos poner " VE" en nuestro título e isotipo porque vivimos en Venezuela. Nuestra prioridad es hacer cambios aquí, pero nuestros pensamientos son globales, y esperamos avanzar a ese nivel muy pronto.

Para nosotros, el cannabis debe ser legal en todos los países del mundo. Estamos muy interesados ​​en los pensamientos libertarios. Para nosotros, la guerra contra las drogas es un completo fracaso y un error histórico; pero el cannabis es nuestra prioridad por muchas razones.

Educación

El nombre de Educannabis no es casual. Para nosotros, la necesidad real en el control de drogas es tener una educación buena, frontal y honesta. Creemos firmemente que las personas no apoyan la legalización del cannabis porque no saben lo que realmente es.

Basamos nuestro método en ese orden de ideas. Eso significa que nuestra verdadera misión es enseñar a las personas sobre el Cannabis. Promoveremos la legalización de la marihuana utilizando la verdad y la ciencia.

También creemos que el dinero que los delincuentes en el tráfico de drogas están obteniendo de la venta de marihuana puede convertirse en impuestos para invertir en educación.

Libertad

Ciertamente hablar de legalizar es igual a hablar de libertad, pero vamos más allá. Para nosotros ser libres es hacer lo que quieras sin ir contra la libertad de nadie más.

Queremos construir ciudadanos que puedan tomar el control de sus vidas con responsabilidad. Disfrutar de la marihuana debe ser un derecho, pero también debe ser un compromiso con la racionalidad al usarla.

La consecuencia de la prohibición es que los delincuentes utilizan el mercado de la marihuana para obtener dinero y cometen delitos peligrosos y perjudiciales.

El mundo del tráfico de drogas se está fortaleciendo cada día al obtener el dinero que puede convertirse en impuestos para invertir en seguridad.

Salud

El cannabis se ha utilizado como medicamento durante mucho tiempo, y muchos países de todo el mundo ya han legalizado la hierba para uso médico.

Avanzamos y proponemos la marihuana medicinal con bajos impuestos y la marihuana recreativa con altos impuestos.

Si utilizamos los impuestos de la marihuana para crear campañas sólidas para enseñar a las personas a lidiar con el cannabis y otras drogas en lugar de criminalizar a quienes las usan, crearemos verdadera seguridad y salud.

Usar el dinero que las personas gastan de manera responsable para comprar marihuana para invertir en programas de salud, investigación médica (incluso sobre la planta en sí) y la información de prevención es, para nosotros, algo realmente inteligente.

Nuestros próximos pasos

Publicaremos y compartiremos información confiable y noticias globales sobre el cannabis. Las redes sociales serán nuestra principal herramienta, pero queremos hacer activismo en las calles, y estamos trabajando en ello.
