The war on drugs is a farce and always will be. The U.S. will eventually legalize marijuana and the revenue will aid states significantly. In my opinion, our justice system (law enforcement, lawyers, court officials) has a vested interest in keeping drugs illegal. After all, our justice system is nothing more than a big business. Have to keep all of these people employed and keep the money pouring in.
