The Story Behind GrowPayment
Binyamin Shimshoon, GrowPayment’s Chief Executive Officer and a registered nurse, was inspired to launch GrowPayment after seeing the benefits of medicinal Cannabis first-hand. Many times over, Shimshoon noted the major accessibility gaps patients encountered while navigating the Cannabis industry, simply to procure this form of treatment.
Motivated to provide the support that patients require, Shimshoon undertook to fill the gaps that impede patients’ access to Cannabis by sharing information and connecting with others to tackle the challenges surrounding access to high-quality Cannabis.
Shimshoon founded GrowPayment with support from a group of international entrepreneurs with experience in finance, sales, marketing, communication, design, and software development.
The GrowPayment team shares Shimshoon’s passion for championing positive change and is dedicated to breaking the stigma of Cannabis use by providing access to the many health benefits of Cannabis through technology. The team designs and provides solutions and services for both vendors and consumers to easily access high-quality Cannabis products and merchandise.
Stembis, GrowPayment’s first solution, is an online e-commerce marketplace that is set to launch in June 2018. In anticipation of the launch, the team will be attending events and meet-ups throughout the summer to engage with members of the Cannabis community to gather feedback and find the best ways to address the needs of Cannabis consumers and vendors.
