It's not like it's the first time that the mainstream has completely ignored a huge market...sometimes even as they're active within it. The adult industry has been completely shut out of mainstream media for years. They refuse to even advertise on adult sites for the most part, creating a market for spyware and malware to run freely on such sites, putting anyone who visits sites that use unscrupulous advertisers at risk of infection. This in turn costs the economy millions, or perhaps even billions.

The whole thing is stupid. We need to start acting like adults.
