I went to a hearing in MA the legislature was holding to pretend they were getting public feedback before changing the ballot initiative the people voted for and you would not believe all the bullshit and nonsense that people with various political agendas will spout at these things. There was a beet farmer lobbyist there claiming that cannabis was neurotoxic! Basically anyone who opposes legalization and the legislators who drag their feet are sociopaths, prohibition kills and legalization saves lives.
It is reefer madness! But, like I said at the end of the article, these dinosaurs are on their way out. hopefully they are replaced by NO ONE. :D
There will always be those people who oppose civil liberties, look at all the gun control folks or the anti abortion folks, but in America they will always eventually lose. Those who oppose cannabis legalization are like Kim Davis or Bull Conner.
