ELEVATE - The Cannabis Startup Conference

Hello Steemit world,

My name is Erik and I've been producing this conference - http://www.elevateconference.com/ for the past few months and it just happend this Tuesday at the Oakland Museum. This event was everything we could've hoped for in bringing the tech startup experience to the cannabis world.

We started the day with a motivational talk from Adeo Ressi of Founder's Institute and then we jumped right into panels featuring cannabis founders like Cy Scott of Headset, David Hua of Meadow, and Seibo Shen of Vapexhale. We then had some great cannabis investors including Leslie Bocskor of Electrum Partners, Morgan Paxhia of Poseidon Asset Management, Nico Richardson of Privateer Holdings, and Steve Berg or the ArcView group.

The day then was finished off with the DEMO DAY for Gateway Incubator's first class of companies. It was so great to see the excitement and energy from these startup founders. My good friend, Marshall Hayner = https://www.linkedin.com/in/marshallhayner, is a steemit and Bitcoin enthusiast who introduced me to this site. He has a new startup that will use bitcoin technology to help cannabis companies accept credit cards. Him and his cohort were the first California cannabis incubator class for Gateway, and will be paving the way for many more to come.
