The community was happy to get together, and relieved that the Vancouver Police didn't hand out tickets (no promises about tomorrow though). It was the first decent market after "Legalization" and interesting to see how it went!
People come from miles around (even Washington State) to purchase from our market, because we have such high quality. Our free market approach enables vendors to compete in a friendly atmosphere, bringing their best to market, where customers can find competitive prices.

So good to see the #420FarmersMarket making a come back! We love to the special ones that are on holidays like this or on protests in response to social or legal news. Thornton Park is a nice location. Hopefully, y'all will be back at the Art Gallery soon too because it seems a bit safer now that they can't (easily) arrest you for toking on the sidewalk and having a protest in the square.
