Mainstream media claims unregulated cannabis makes users sick but legalized weed is safe

"Why do some victims of cannabis hyperemesis syndrome avoid it after switching to legal weed?" asks Global News BC.

Hyperemesis just means "lots of vomiting", and a syndrome is just a symptom(s) by itself, one that has no diagnosis yet. In other words, this is a made up issue with no known cause or cure. There is no "CHS" condition or illness. It's just cyclic puking. The fact remains, a tiny portion of cannabis users will experience vomiting, so there's something going on there. But what? There must be a scientific explanation.

This self-professed "cannabis doctor" was paid to lie about cannabis to the public.

The video on that article claims the culprit is THC. It then claims that some people stop vomiting by switching from regular cannabis to legalized cannabis. Does that mean there's a lot less THC in legalized cannabis? Perhaps, but clearly that's not really the problem.

The problem is: people are having a side effect to chemical contaminants found in their cannabis. For example, myclobutanil caused many symptoms, including hyperemesis (lots of vomiting). That was found ONLY in legalized cannabis (such as the poorly-named Organigram). A lot of people get hyperemesis from smoking cannabis that contains traces of neem, a popular fungicide used both in the free market and the legalized market. (See my viral post on this issue here.)

Most people who get hyperemesis won't get it from clean organic cannabis grown even without fertilizers. For them, it's not about the THC, it's about the chemical contaminants found in cannabis, and there can be many.

Back to the question "why do some people stop vomiting when switching to legalized cannabis?"

Knowing what I've just said, the answer is clearly that there was something in the free market cannabis that is NOT in the particular legalized cannabis they switched to, and that they were reacting to that chemical contaminant with vomiting.

As for why people with CHS often recover in a hot bath or shower? We've been putting people into a hot bath or shower for GENERATIONS in the medical field. It was a potential cure for uncontrolled cyclic vomiting, long before anyone ever made up the concept of CHS.

The douchenozzle in the video clip is a paid shill for the LPs, a propagandist with lies and bad logic. He wants people to fear all non-legalized cannabis. He's paid directly by proceeds of the legalized regime. His opinion is worthless at best.

Know your grower, and only use organic cannabis. Never touch legalized cannabis if you value your health.

For anyone who hasn't heard, "legalization" in Canada will involve extracts sometime next year. They've already established that 2.5mg will be the maximum dose! If that sounds small to you, it is. A typical dose for a medical cannabis user would be about 100mg. Some users need thousands of grams per day. They will be forced to use the free (black) market to get their prescribed medicines.
