Cannabis College Program in NM Sees Explosive Demand

The Northern New Mexico College that is located in Española, New Mexico, has come up with a new cannabis themed course and they weren't expecting the sort of response that they've been seeing right now for it.

They knew that eventually the interest for the program would grow to capture more interest, the Cannabis Establishment Technician Course, but for this summer they are seeing explosive demand already.

In the past week the number of registrants has increased from around 70 to hundreds of entries coming in, 600 entries from people who want to learn more about the course.

This is without any decent marketing either for the course, they haven't started pushing any marketing for it and there is still overwhelming demand.

They might look at expanding the program and maybe more will come in the future because of the demand that they have seen so far.

This is one more way for people who want to work in the industry to set themselves apart on their resume, and gain any cannabis related knowledge or skills before they head out into the market. It is also a chance for students to expand their knowledge about plants and learn more about the history of cannabis, biology of the plant, and more about the medical programs etc, among other information.

Cannabis is expected to become legal for recreational purposes in NM soon and that means many more Americans are finally going to have access to legal cannabis markets.

This recreational market is going to add millions more in revenue to the overall cannabis market in the country, and they join several others, as many more regions look to open up recreational or medicinal sales now.
