Patient Education on CBD at Medical Alternatives Dr Office
Today I got to do the part of my job that I love, working with patients to educate patients on the different types of cannabis and CBD and how to manage their pain in different ways.
I love the variety of products offered due to legalization. Don’t get me wrong flower is great medicine, and for many people they want something that isn’t a joint or getting them high.
CBD and THC work together in tandem to hit inflammation and pain. When you use a high CBD with a very small amount of thc, you won’t get Intoxicated, and the small amount of thc helps activate the CBD and direct it towards tackling pain.
I love being able to watch patients eyes light up as they learn about the many options that we offer and the different ways they can medicate besides just smoking cannabis.
