RE: Organic or Hydroponic? Which Do You Think is the Cleanest Cannabis?

in #cannabis6 years ago

Just plain terrible. This is loaded with so much misinformation, I can't cover it all in this reply.
"This is very beneficial in vegetative stages where elements like silicon can be added to greatly improve the strength of the plant. This is difficult to deal with in flower, for the same reasons. Cannabis has zero use for silicon in flower, making for hotter burning, harsher feeling, tough to break up flowers."
First, silicon is a completely different substance from silica, which is needed by the plant for strength and cell structure. Also, Silica is the chief stress-reducer for plants that get overheated. You should be more informed on organics and the rhizosphere.

Seriously?

Silicon is derived from silica. When you grow organically, you add silica to your soil, so your plants can absorb and use the silicon. When you grow hydro you add silicon. No, we're not talking about silicone, which is for breast implants and window caulking.

Thanks for stopping by.
