This is such important information. I have never been subject to these horrible symptoms because I have grown my own organic no pesticide herb for 20 years but my sister and many cannabis using friends suffer from these symptoms. Debilitating for years and their doctors call it IBS or crones. I will share this with them. This is why I advocate for complete deregulation. These rules don't protect anyones health and give people a false sense of safety in the products they buy. People need to know their grower, and trust them personally.

Have them take some benadryl or another anti-histamine and report back whether it helps them. Definitely let them know about the relief from pain through hot baths/showers. :)
My sister has already found relief with the hot water, but I will suggest the anti-histamine.
Be sure to report back on her reaction, please. The activated charoal helps over time. One a day for a week, then two a day for a few weeks or more. :)
