Sometimes It’s Polite To Burp

Hello Steemiters,

Finishing up the burping process with my last harvest. The slow tease is very important to curing good cannabis. Basically drawing the moisture from the center of the buds to the outer layers, ideally in a uniform manner.

I cut these plants down about a month ago & trimmed them up a little over a week later, then straight to jars.

Once in jars, I like to open them up for 15 minutesish every day for the first couple weeks & then taper off, burping as needed. Today is probably one of the last full burps I’ll do for them. From here on, they’ll get opened enough as I smoke them, to cure wonderfully. Nothing better than that sweet smoke that burns to pure white ash.

Most of these strains are brand new to me. Grown from seeds harvested from my first grow, when my blueberry headband cbd pollinated itself & a bunch of other from seed phenos I was trying at the time.

Thinking this is my favorite of the bunch

She has a really relaxing & content feeling high. Got that really danky almost baby poop smell to her, & a hint of funky fruit flavor. Probably a cross between the blueberry headband cbd & a critical pheno or maybe Ayahuasca Purple. Hard to tell for sure as I didn’t separate out seeds from one another.

The rest of the seeds turned out great, all female, with no herms, & all pretty good. About 1/2 of them smoke a lot like a light tasty cbd strain with varying degrees of berry & lime notes. The other half are more similar to a stronger more relaxing pheno like the one I described above.

I also harvested some blueberry headband cbd early this grow to see if it had a higher cbd/lower thc profile when harvested a few weeks earlier. Cant officially notice a difference yet, perhaps the early harvest is a touch lighter, but may not even be enough to be noticeable in the hi. The flavor of the early harvest is more berry compared to a nuttier profile coming out with a later harvest. Both are excellent for smoking pleasure, tasty & smooth & packed full of cbds.
