Growing Morels In Your Garden! {Day 3}

OMG I FINALLY DID IT!
It took two years of hard work.. BUT I DID IT!
Today I was walking around my garden
and i stumbled upon these MORELS growing
wildly in a non-curated area! They were growing in my old
hoophouse spot where i planted morels two years
ago! Guess Morels Do like compost and alder chips after all!


And they say growing Morels is near impossible.
Well i finally did it! No more trips to the forest all day!
I can take care of my other plants now! WOW IM AMAZED! :)

NOTES: Morels are growing in an old compost pile and stick pile.
Suprisingly: This area was primed to grow Pink Oysters: Shiitake
And Turkey tails. It also contains alder chips. Morels were planted in
spore form along with rich mycelium suspended in honey. Also raw mycelium.
Age of Morel mycelium i predict is a large factor in understanding how to grow
Morels in a garden. This is the oldest site on my property i planted Morel spores. It is
also the oldest compost and oldest stick pile in the garden. Morels may take two seasons
to fruit no matter WHAT area you plant them in. This would not surprise me in the least.
That means my new spot will not fruit this year. Many more experiments and observations
are needed here. I will continue to cultivate this area and try to keep the substrate stable to grow.
