The researchers of the Brand Test program from German television have discovered that the German candy conglomerate "Haribu", which produces the popular rubber teddy bears,
is buying and cooperating with factories in Brazil that employ hard-working children.
According to the investigation, the company cooperates with exploitative factories in the poorest regions of Brazil, factories with many employees who are underage, hard labor, sleeping outside or in trucks, are denied access to services and receive little pay.
Brazil's Labor Minister was interviewed in response to the inquiry and said: "It's crazy that there is a product manufactured under inhumane working conditions, so that children from the West will eat it."
