न जायते म्रियते वा कदाचिन्नायं भूत्वा भविता वा न भूयः । अजो नित्यः शाश्वतोऽयं पुराणो न हन्यते हन्यमाने शरीरे ॥ T

Bhagavad Gita 2.20

The soul is never born, never dies once it comes into being, it never ceases to be. Unborn, eternal, abiding and prime- val, it does not perish when the body is slain.

आत्मा किसी काल में भी न जन्मता है और न मरता है, न यह एक बार होकर फिर अभावरूप होने वाला है। आत्मा अजन्मा, नित्य, शाश्वत और पुरातन है, शरीर के नाश होने पर भी इसका नाश नहीं होता।
