It's October 17th and the day has finally come, weed has been officially legalized in Canada. 20 years ago my stoner teenage self never imagined that it would take this long but now that it's happened it feels a bit surreal.
I got this is the mail a few weeks ago and went.... woah.

The news has been full of cheery pot stories and silly memes, Ian Power was the first man in Canada to buy pot legally, we are all hoping he is one day featured in one of our treasured heritage moments >.<
As far as I can tell from the practical side of things the prices look reasonable but are probably still above black market. I suppose we will have to wait and see if they try to be competitive:
