Moving to Canada
In the past year, me and my wife started to think about moving in another place to live. We made a few lists of possible new places that could represent a good choice for us and our little boy. We discussed the pros and cons of each one and in the end we decided for Canada. There are a lot of things we have to take care of before we will get there( finding jobs, a house, ...), but we hope that somewhere around the fall of 2017 we will mark the first day of the rest of our lives on canadian ground.
I've started to read a lot of opinions from others that have chosen Canada, about what to expect once we get there, about the people, the culture, their habbits and so on. We wanna be prepared as much as possible and ease our integration. But after all, what I've read so far are personal opinions regarding Canada's way of life and perhaps some are more or less judgmental. I would appreciate a lot if I can hear a few words from people that are born and raised there. I have a lot of questions but our primary concern is if newcomers can easily make canadian friends or they are regarded with skepticism? There are are a lot of romanians in Canada but we trully hope that we can make new friends near us, friends with whom we will go out for dinner, in family trips and so on. So, if you are from Canada, do share :) Thanks a lot.
