Abolitionist Abstractions Vlog 87: The ups and downs (and ups again) of vanarchy continue!
Here is today's vlog! After parting way with the #BipTwins on Monday, Murder Dog and I started heading westward. We only made it about 90 miles, though, before we had some more issues with the Element. Our string of bad luck followed by good continued, however, as this time we landed within a mile of a Honda dealership. They made room for us the next day, so we set off to the nearest Planet Fitness and settled in for the night.
Come morning the issues with the Element seemingly resolved themselves, but we took it in to be serviced just in case. Once everything was checked out as A-Okay, we proceeded on our journey. We ended up stopping at a free campsite we found near the New York/Pennsylvania border. With our gear still wet from the weekend of camping with the kids, we set out to get everything as dry as possible. Since there is more rain in the forecast, we will likely have to stay in the vehicle again tonight but we're plenty use to that! Hopefully tomorrow will bring slightly better weather!

that is a good looking dog you have there.
A free campground in New Yorkistan. Amazing huh. It's on my list of places to camp if I'm ever in those parts. Thanks J, for the tip. Enjoy!
Yeah, this place is pretty cool. The rain has been a pain but other than that, I'm really digging it. I actually went exploring even further this morning and found that there's more secluded campsites than listed on the site. One of them is actually right next to a small lake. If things dry out today/tomorrow, I think I'm going to shift my stuff to the site by the lake. In either case, I'm going to do some fishing there today and see if there's anything good in there. :)
Nice pic
