Now days many new cameras are coming with Wi-Fi features. Now you can download Companions app on your smartphone and control your camera sitting away from it.

But for old DSLR you need to buy wired remote. Now with a special app DSLR control app, you can use your phone as a remote to control it.

To use this app you need to use USB OTG cable and USB cable to connect with camera. App page on Google Play store, you can find a list of camera supported to this app. In which cameras from entry level DSLR camera to professional cameras from Brand Canon and Nikon is also included.

If your camera is in list and fully supported by these apps than you can trigger the shutter for sitting away from camera.

Aperture/ shutter speed/ISO can also be adjust with it. With the help of these app you can also start type lapse. Even you can use some inbuilt features like (level lite meter, check list). For android this is free app.
