The Ultimate Dream, Living In the North Woods. Cabin-The Burn

After the long hours of lot cleaning in the fall and anticipation of The Burn we had made our way to the local small engine dealer and purchased a firemans pump to prepare us for when it was time to be rid of the old falling down cabin come spring. Safety First ;)
(where we live you don't need to have a burn permit between Nov.15-April 15)
Once early spring came we spent a week out there in our tarp tent good thing we had a wood stove in there as it was still a bit chilly outside
The day we set the cabin on fire there was a few people out on the lake ice fishing , it was pretty cold damp and windy out there too.
As the evening came the fishers left and the wind had subsided, with everyone gone and no wind we decided to light it up!

First we burned the power house. not bad, not bad

So I guess we are ready for the BIG burn, our guts were fluttering like crazy just imagining what can go wrong!! We have never burned anything on this scale before.
