Cabalen Christmas Countdown 14: Pukpok Palayok
Hello Steemians and Cabalens,
During the Christmas season like I posted before, we do have some parties and we have some parlor games to make the event fun. The games are of course for the children. One of the games we usually see is the Pukpok Palayok this will be our theme for today. Pukpok means to hit with something hard and Palayok means pot. So this game literally means hit the pot. The one hitting the pot is blindfolded to make it exciting and fun. Once the hanging pot cracks the goodies inside drop and everyone goes crazy catching them. Pukpok Palayok is a traditional favorite game especially during festivities.
Hope you like my drawing of a traditional parlor game here in the Philippines. Please do join too
Cheers

We don't usually play this at my side. But I see this often in cartoon show they call it piñatas, not sure is it the same. For piñata, the children get to hit the pot till it breaks and inside will have either sweets and chocolates or small toys.
Does this have too?
Definitely like the word Pukpok Palayok. 👍👍👍
