An open source 3rd generation crypto platform

The Byteball project is a block-free cryptocurrency platform implementing what many calls 3rd generation Distributed Ledger Technology. There are no blocks and no miners - only transactions, smart contracts, oracles and chat bots!

I like to call the Byteball platform the Lego of cryptocurrencies. It goes to great lengths to reduce complexity and bring the user to the center stage. The platform's smart contracts are human readable and doesn't necessarily require any programming skills to create.

The features of the platform are vast, and can be combined any way you want to fit your exact needs. This allows developers, use case designers, businesses, ICOs, external website developers and basically anyone cabable of generating innovative and creative ideas, to realize them on the platform. That's why I call Byteball the Lego of cryptocurrencies. There are currently 90 individual GitHub repositories related to Byteball making it a monster of open possibilities.

The wallet is simple, intuitive and user-friendly and looks the same across all platforms, so whether you prefer iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux or want to download the source code and build one yourself, there is a wallet for you.

Chat bots

Where Ethereum has dApps Byteball has chat-bots, giving users a human-like interface to the applications. The apps are easy to build and there's a growing community of developers, thinkers and creatives constantly working on new projects and helping out with tips and tricks to others.

What are legos without builders?

Single bricks of Lego are not very interesting. Only when combined, they form great models and we are on the lookout for more creative people wanting to experience the great opportunities the platform holds.
