B&W Photo Contest - Bridges - Entry 1 - Sunny Summer Bridge Crossing

Boy oh boy... Another very tough day in the crypto markets today...

Hopefully my first entry into this week's bwphotocontest, can help you to take your mind off of the markets for at least a little while!

This is by far one of my favorite photos that I've captured while on a bridge. This bridge in particular is located in the city of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada and crosses over the Saint John River. As you can see from the wooden boards that make up the base of this bridge, it is reserved only for pedestrian and bicycle traffic; drivers are limited to a much larger paved bridge that runs in parallel next to this one.

On the host summer day that I captured this photo, my girlfriend and I were trying to escape the heat by venturing out onto the bridge where it is often nice and windy over-top the river. Fortunately for us, the wind did provide us a bit of relief and we got to enjoy some relaxing exercise while capturing some lovely photos in the process. It was a win, win, win!
