Last summer I visited my birthplace in Monterey California, a place I havent been to since I was two years old. While traveling to and around Monterey alone, every animal I saw took on a heightened symbolism. The surreal picture below is of a rare white deer in the hills of Monterey. This image was shot on a Pentax 67 medium format camera with a 90mm lens, using Ilford HP-5 400 film.
