Rusty Fire Escape • B&W Photo Contest • Shadows

I captured this fire escape last month and although its pretty rusty it still casts some solid shadows. Hopefully they will never have to use it in an emergency.

I'll never forget the time I sat on a fire escape barbecuing one night and the next day I heard a crash outside. I opened the fire escape door to see that the rusty step I was sitting on was gone and had fallen to the alleyway below. I felt very lucky it held up for those few extra hours!

I photographed the fire escape with my Canon 5D camera and 70-200 mm lens.

      Wow, friend here in Venezuela we say to that. what good milk and that was not your day. well for you I'm glad that nothing happened to you.
      By the way the photo is very cool the optical illusion that is created with the shadow you have to detail well that is shadow and that is real
