Illuminated
This is a part of the Kyoto Illumination display in Nantan Kyoto, in monochrome it looks a bit spooky but it was quite beautifully lit with alternating red, blue and white light from the spot lights near the base of the tree. Some of the field of LEDs can also be seen. Most of the displays were formed of thousands of LEDs, sometimes animated using computer control to simulate waves and to sync with music.
