B&W Photo Contest - Animals - Entry 1 - Huntress
I spotted this large huntsman spider under a hydrangea leaf, I think it was guarding its eggs that were under a different nearby leaf. Though those could have belonged to a slightly smaller spider, and this one was just waiting for nightfall to go out hunting.

Good pots.
Thanks @zainuddinibrahim!
Hi sir, i'm here and I see your post, it's really awesome post
Thank you @mdarifk!
High-quality black-and-white spider photographs. It feels horrible when he hunts at night. Good luck always for you @mweich.
It's dreadful if you are a cockroach, one of this spiders favourite foods! Though that also means they are very fast! :)
Haha ... My nightlife will be haunted by this spider :-).
:O Sweet dreams!
And to think I used to have a spider collection in my room as a child. Drove my mother nuts when I used to set them free. Nicely done macro.
Wow, a collection in your room! My mother wouldn't have been very happy with setting them free in the house either!
Good !!!
Thanks @iodin!
