I visited India a few years ago, and was amazed by what I saw.
It looks like a peacock spreading out his feathers to show off, doesn't it?

Thank you @taraamin77! Just saw the peacock feather you posted a few days ago. I didn't know the peacock is the national bird of India!

Because the tag "#B&WPhotoContes" in your post actually hyperlinks to the tag #beachwednesday. Which I'm not familiar with, but I understand that one was initiated by @uwelang, according to this post by @pipurilla.
I'm not sure the photo is either beach-related or taken in the Asia-Pacific region.
