This shot is part of an ongoing series I've collected, of portraits of beggars and homeless people in Barcelona. Over the years there has been a noticeable increase in the number of beggars and homeless people, so I started this project to give some attention to the matter. I'd like to post more images but I'm keeping them for a bigger release. If anyone knows of any good writers in Barcelona who would be willing to do an investigation with me to produce a book, please get in touch.

Here is an action shot as I was asked for money by this beggar. She didn't really understand me when I told her what I was trying to do but she accepted and I gave her a nice donation.
