Tree Graffiti
These aspen trees are easy to carve graffiti into because they have a fairly smooth soft bark so its easy for people to leave their mark. The San francisco Peaks north of Flagstaff Arizona is a great place to observe the Aspen groves during the wonderful fall color change. This image was captured on film using a Pentax 6x7-2 medium format camera and is being entered in daveks bw photo contest.

Hey' it is a little bright I hope it didn't shock you. LOL its a yellow explosion, a supernova of fall color.
We have birch and Aspen trees up here in Alaska also, and the fall colors are great, first the softening yellow and then the oranges to bright reds, Takes them for ever to leaf out up here in spring. but they are cool trees.

Color photography intrigues me with that abundant yellow tone of the trees, and the perspective so centric. It has an aspect of mystery, of attraction.
