“I am astounded at the quantity and quality of the photographs submitted for this contest. Food is a very difficult theme for b/w, and the photographers definitely rose to the challenge. Though I particularly love unique photos and unusual perspectives, I felt that the theme “food” was best portrayed through an image where the food was easily recognizable as food, even though a few of the photographs that captured an unusual perspective were some of my personal favorites.
I am honored to have been able to judge this contest. Thank you @daveks for holding space for the creation of this dynamic photography community. Congratulations to all of the photographers who entered. Thank you all for continuing to support and bring great value to Steemit.”

This was a very difficult challenge for me, as nearly every photo has something to appreciate. I'm grateful to be supporting this initiative and excited to be a part of it again soon in some shape or form. Congrats to all the winners.
