B+W Photo Contest: La Antorcha de la Amistad

A gift from the Mexican government to the City of San Antonio, La Antorcha de la Amistad (The Torch of Friendship) is a prominent figure in the downtown area. It sits between Commerce & Market Streets and is normally pictured in full color, a bright red statue against a clear blue sky. I thought it a perfect opportunity to experiment with a different perspective.

All three of my B+W Photography entries are listed below and were taken with a Sony a5000 & kit lens (16-55mm f/3.5-5.6).

This is one of three native american statues outside San Antonio's Briscoe Western Art Museum. Seems to be giving me some side eye for using the flash so late at night.
