Hi everyone! It is hard to believe this is Week 12 of the Thursday is Butterfly Day Giveaway. A big thank you to all of the participants! I love seeing all of the beautiful butterflies from all over the world.

Post your butterfly photos or art work for a chance to Win Steem Basic Income Shares. 2-SBI prizes will be given away, one for art work and one for photos. If no art work is submitted, 2-SBI will be given away for photos. You have 6 days for entries in this post and then a new one will begin. Here are my photos for today of the Black Swallowtail.

These large butterflies have a wingspan of approximately 4.5 inches. Both tails are intact which usually means that a bird hasn't tried to capture it.

They sip nectar from a variety of flowers. This one is feeding from red clovers.

The wings are closed and now you can see what the underside of the wings look like and you can see the body that is black with white spots.

The wings were fluttering in this photo.
